No one is claiming that this little TCL TV is even in the same league as the big boys that fill out the rest of this list, but if you're looking for a very cheap TV, we've not tested anything better. For a very low price, you get a 32-inch 720p TV with the Roku operating system and surprisingly decent picture quality. A bargain.

We've reviewed the 65-inch Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED and can heartily recommend it at this knockdown price. This model received a solid four-star rating, in part due to its consistent picture and strong features for the money. We've seen this TV drop to as low as $549 before (March 2024), but this is still a great price.

Roku has its own soundbar, the Streambar, and it's got direct, well-projected sound with a solid feature list, and most importantly can get loud without issue. If you need a cheap upgrade for your TV, this is it. Plus, the Roku Streambar is also its very own full-fledged Roku device with all the familiar Roku features you already probably know and love, so it's a great way to make a TV smart and easily stream all the 4K HDR content you could ever want.

The petite Dolby Atmos-capable HT-A3000 scored a commendable four stars when it passed through our test room. This five-star speaker comes with a rugged build, an impressive sense of detail and dynamics, and strong timing, too. We loved this speaker at its original $350, and at just $229 this is an absolute steal.

There's barely any set-up needed (everything comes factory-fitted) and while it looks plain, this 'purist' design is a great starter turntable for those getting into vinyl.

We love a good deal on this excellent Sony Bluetooth turntable. The PS-LX310BT is a plug-and-play fully automatic design that includes phono stage and can connect to up to eight Bluetooth headphones or speakers. The Black Friday deal makes this a great budget buy. 

Denon DP-400 was $589 now $499 at Crutchfield (save $90)
We haven't tested this for ourselves, but Denon is a hugely respected audio brand so it could be worth trying this one out. The DP-400 has a built-in phono preamp and spins at 33 1/3, 45 and 78rpm – perfect for those older collections.

Fluance RT81 was $350 now $211 at Amazon (save $139)
The RT81 is an instantly likeable deck that won't let you down. It sounds good out of the box and can be easily upgraded at a later stage. A talented musical turntable.
