One of the very best budget over-ear wireless headphones on the market, the Sony WH-CH520 offer an audio performance easily in excess of their original asking price, let alone this discounted one. Want noise-cancelling? Sony's model-up $99 WH-CH720N (below) is our recommendation. Five stars

Denon DP-400 was $589 now $369 at Crutchfield (save $120)
We haven't tested this for ourselves, but Denon is a hugely respected audio brand so it could be worth trying this one out. The DP-400 has a built-in phono preamp and spins at 33 1/3, 45 and 78rpm – perfect for those older collections.

Fluance RT81 was $350 now $211 at Amazon (save $139)
The RT81 is an instantly likeable deck that won't let you down. It sounds good out of the box and can be easily upgraded at a later stage. A talented musical turntable.
