KEF's superb LS50 Meta speakers remain one of our favourites at this level, and a huge $450 off four finishes is a terrific saving in our books. Rhythmically engaging, detailed sound that will pair with a wide variety of kit, these standmounters are the real dea.

Under review, we praised Elac's already budget bookshelf bobby dazzlers for their 'detailed and organised sound', 'solid build' and 'unfussy nature', leaving us with no choice but to give them five sweet stars and a subsequent award – for four years running. At this price, they are a steal.

KEF Q150 was $600 now $350 at Crutchfield (save $250)
We've tested the bigger brothers in this range, the 2018 Award-winning Q350, but the smallest model in KEF's Q range is now half price and that's not a deal to be missed. Sporting a clean, minimal design with a Uni-Q driver array and rear port, this speaker discount is on the white finish. We loved the Q350's even balance, excellent clarity, detail and scale (but wanted more punch), and if the Q150 speakers have an ounce of that presentation, you're in good hands.

A musically entertaining powered speaker system that's compact, fuss-free and packs plenty of connectivity to plug in a laptop, TV, turntable or mobile device. The Debut ConneX were good value before, but a 33 per cent discount at Amazon really is a tremendous deal.
