The True Colours Industries 'Copperhead certainly looks and feels like an expensive wire. This solid core cable features a sturdy, hard-wearing exterior and solid HDMI plugs.
Doesn't justify the price tag
Unfortunately, the Copperhead doesn't perform well enough to justify the lofty price tag. Picture quality is decent, the Copperhead uncovering its fair share of detail and displaying a colourful image.
But some cheaper cables, such as the Chord HDMI Silver Plus 1.3, are more than a match for it. And it's a similar story with sound quality. It delivers clarity, but other cables sound more dynamic and more refined.
