Welcome to the new Whathifi.com!

whathifi.com logo

We kick off today with some exclusive updates from B&W, Classe and Living Control, and you can expect more stories, previews and show reports from our globe-trotting news team every day.

We'll also be bringing you inside information, opinions and insight in our new dedicated blogs channel - including a regular blog updating you with all the kit we've got into test and when we expect to bring your our verdicts.

Improved search - with even more on the way
With so much on the site, we figured you'd appreciate a better search system - so that's what you've got. Results are sorted into sections, and easily able to be refined further - taking you to what you're looking for faster than before.

And that's just the start - we're working on an advanced filtering system that'll allow you to search by product detail, so you can refine your search by as little as a single tech-spec or feature. That should be with you in time for the pre-Christmas buying frenzy!

Take a look inside our test rooms
Finally, our new About Us section aims to tell you everything you need to know about the world of What Hi-fi? Sound and Vision.

You'll be able to see where we work, see some of our reference kit (even our
stockroom!), and get previews of the current issues of the main magazine and Ultimate Guides.

And that's an important, last point to make: today we have launched a huge new website, but that's just the beginning of even bigger and better things for the What Hi-fi? Sound and Vision family.

Our Show has a new, high-tech home (see here); we've got all-new Ultimate Guides coming up (look out for High-end Hi-fi and Home Cinema, plus an indispensable Blu-ray special); more overseas editions (hello to our newest colleagues in China) and an updated look to the main magazine going into 2009.

As ever, please let us know your views on everything we're doing, either via the comments and Forums online, or the Contact Us tab below. Help us to help you even more!
