Truphone launches latest iPhone VoIP application on Apple App Store
You can now download v3.0 of Truphone's VoIP application on the Apple App Store for the iPhone

But if it's cheaper phone calls you're after, you can now download the latest version of Truphone's VoIP (voice over internet protocol) application to make free calls via wi-fi over the web to other Truphone, Skype and Google Talk users.
Truphone v3.0 is claimed to offer improved voice quality, faster response times and easier-to-use functionality.
"Customers tell us they want three things: simplicity, quality and a good deal," says Geraldine Wilson, CEO of Truphone.
"Truphone v3.0 delivers on all three. We've dramatically improved our user interface and account management tools. We've also eliminated the need for compression thanks to new advances in signal processing, making calls crystal clear."
Users can now manage all their instant messaging from a single page within the application, eliminating the need to switch between different applications.
Truphone v3.0 supports instant messaging via Skype, MSN Messenger, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk. An upgraded version for the Apple iPod Touch will be released shortly.
