With the Eurovision Song Contest, the King’s coronation, and the usual summer of sport all coming soon, there’s never been a better time to buy a new TV. Whatever your needs, Samsung has a set for you – its 2023 TV range includes models of all size and style, from Neo QLED TVs to OLEDs.

And with the option of recycling your old TV to get money off a new set, and cashback on certain models, isn’t it time you upgraded?

Heading up the new range are Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K TVs. The flagship QN900C Neo QLED Mini LED-lit TV has improved contrast thanks to Real Depth Enhancer Pro and Shape Adaptive Light algorithms. That means incredibly deep blacks, searingly bright whites, with more gradual steps in between and more detail throughout the image.

But the benefits of greater contrast aren’t limited to HDR content. Samsung’s Auto HDR Remastering algorithm uses AI deep learning to add High Dynamic Range effects (HDR) to Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) content in real-time, and on a scene-by-scene basis. Which makes everything you watch brighter, livelier and more engaging.

This same technology is available in Samsung’s 2023 Neo QLED 4K TVs. Top of this range is the QN95C, which has an Infinity One design and a thinner profile than last year’s model.

Samsung OLED: brightening up dull scenes

Samsung’s 2023 TV range includes two new OLED models too, and like last year’s five-star S95B, they include Quantum Dot technology to improve brightness and colour beyond the capabilities of a standard OLED screen.

The S95C is the new flagship. It boasts a second-generation OLED panel, while inside, the custom-designed Neural Quantum Processor 4K helps deliver incredible brightness, vivid colour mapping and smart 4K upscaling with AI detail restoration.

It handles motion with aplomb, thanks to the sky-high maximum refresh rate of 144Hz* and ultra-low response times. Add to that AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification, not to mention the newly updated Samsung Gaming Hub which comes as standard on all Samsung’s 2023 TVs, and this OLED model is great for gamers.

The S95C also comes with the Attachable Slim One Connect Box (which hides all the connections for a less cluttered, more seamless look) and can be mounted near-flush against a wall with the Slim Fit Wall Mount (sold separately). On audio duties are a 70-watt 4.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos speaker setup with both up-firing and down-firing drivers.

The step-down S90C model lacks the One Connect Box, but retains the incredibly slim design and next-gen picture quality. It offers two down-firing drivers for sound, and like the S95C, it’s up to almost 25 per cent more energy efficient than the S95B OLED from last year.

If you’re worrying about how much all this cutting-edge technology will cost you, don’t. Samsung is offering you up to £600 off a new TV when you recycle your old one. You’ll be helping the environment while saving yourself a pretty penny. And best of all, it’s completely free to do so.

All you have to do is buy your new TV direct from Samsung, and make sure you select Yes to recycling on the product page before you choose your screen size. Then simply identify your old TV, apply the discount, and check out as usual.

Next, prepare your old TV for collection. You don’t need any packaging, you just need to make sure it’s dismounted (if wall-mounted), unplugged and ready to go. Then when Samsung delivers your new TV, they will collect the old one and recycle it free of charge.

But that’s not all. You can also claim up to £500 cashback when you buy a selected TV from Samsung’s 2023 range. Just buy the TV from a participating retailer before 13th June, then submit your claim online within 60 days of your purchase date. You’ll receive an email and a text within five days telling you whether your claim has been successful. Then your cashback reward will be sent straight to your account within 45 days of the claim being approved.

With superb performance, a wealth of choice and great money off offers, Samsung’s 2023 TV range will be the hit of the summer. Your viewing starts here.

*Max 4K @144Hz. Supports VRR/4K@120Hz/8K@60Hz as specified in HDMI 2.1.
