The company, which launched in the UK last September, already has 15,000 registered members here in Britain; now it's opening up its service to enthusiasts in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain.
Passionato provides users with access to the catalogues of the largest major classical labels as well as the key independent classical companies, and makes its DRM-free downloads available in a choice of lossless FLAC or 320kbps MP3.
In addition, users can download the free Passionato Player software, able to organise CD collections alongside downloads, offer extended information about downloads and rips, and also give enhanced searching of the companies catalogue.
It's also possible to search for live events and book tickets.
To mark the expansion, the company's website has had a refresh, with content now including a free guide to classical music downloads.
