NEWS: Vivanco offers racks straight to your door

Accessories specialist Vivanco is introducing a new range of racks designed for hi-fi and home cinema equipment – and as well as being offered in a choice of high-quality finishes, they're delivered straight to your door once you've chosen in the shop.

The new Contour Collection, which comes in a choice of two sizes and three finishes, combines solid construction with adjustable glass shelves, and is the first arrival in what the company says will be an extended range of stands, from chrome and glass to traditional wood.

Cable management is built-in to keep things tidy, and the stands have an inset glass panel on the top to avoid scratching. All the glass is toughened to BS6206A for safety, the stand comes in gloss black, white or light oak finishes, and it's available in 70cm and 90cm widths. Prices are £230 for the light oak and white 70cm models, £250 for the 70cm black or 90cm white/light oak, and £280 for the black 90cm.

In a move designed to relieve pressure on retailer's storage space, shops only have to hold showroom models of the racks - once you've chosen the one you want, it'll be delivered to your home direct from Vivanco.
