Looks like the iPod nano is facing its most-serious threats yet, with Samsung adding a svelte, video-armed player to its line up, hot on the heels of LG’s similarly spec’d (and five-star rated) FM37.
The Samsung P2 is due soon in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions, priced from £130.
It has a large touch-screen (designed to be turned sideways for widescreen fun) that’s tailored for 30fps WMV video at 480 x 272 resolution. There’s also an FM radio and Bluetooth 2.0 support.
We plan to exclusively test the first P2 in our November issue, out 20th September.
