Pure Digital has announced a new addition to its DAB clock-radio family, the Chronos II.
Hoping to follow in the illustrious steps of the original Chronos, the new version now comes in a choice of two colours – white or aluminium – and adds FM with RDS functionality, plus eco-friendly power consumption.
There’s also an improved display and an automatic light sensor for automatic adjusting the display brightness to fit the room.
On board the new Chronos are DAB and FM tuners, four advanced alarms that allow you to fall asleep and wake to two different stations, and of course the all-important snooze button.
Both Intellitext and TextSCAN features are supported, while any advanced features can be installed at a later date via USB.
Pure also claims an environmentally friendly power consumption significantly lower than the industry average – less than 1watts in standby and less than 2w in operation.
The Chronos II will be in shops by the end of October and will retail at £70.
