French telecom giant Orange has struck a deal with Hollywood studio MGM to make its films available online for customers to download to their PCs or a special set-top box.
The 24/24 video-on-demand service will offer films form as little as €1, and customers can keep them for up to 24 hours. The service enables you to watch the film as many times as you like, and even to pause, rewind and fast-forward it.
Orange has already signed up Paramount and Fox for the service, so with MGM onboard can now offer its customers around 2000 videos.
The downside? Well sadly, while the service is available in most of Europe, it's not yet available in the UK. But we're told it will be heading across the Channel 'soon'.
