Microsoft is introducing a 'family' version of the Xbox 360, called the Arcade, for £199.99 this Friday.
The move is seen as an attempt by Microsoft to claw back sales from Nintendo's Wii, which has been a big hit with families.
The Xbox 360 Arcade will include five family-friendly games, a wireless controller, HDMI connection and 256MB of memory.
The games included in the package are PAC-MAN Championship Edition, Uno, Luxor 2, Boom Boom Rocket and Feeding Frenzy.
"As families gather together this Christmas, it's the perfect time to launch a family-oriented Xbox 360 package that plays games, video and music for everyone to enjoy," says Stephen McGill, head of gaming and entertainment for Microsoft UK.
