NEWS: Ixos wall mounts are designed for super-slim flatscreen TVs

This isn't the sexiest picture we've ever posted, admittedly, but for anyone who wants to mount a flatscreen TV on a wall, take note.

Ixos has a new range of slim TV wall mounts that can hold LCD or plasma screens up to 65in.

The Ixos Studio XHM224 (£69.99) is designed for screens up to 46in and 75kg, and the Studio XHM228 model (£99.99) carries sets up to 65in and 90kg.

Both models are just 2.4cm deep and are designed to accommodate the latest range of super-slim flatscreens from a wide range of manufacturers.

The Studio Mount brackets are pre-assembled in the box and there are only two sections to deal with: the supports for fixing to the wall, and the backplate for the screen. Ixos claims the whole thing can be assembled in just 15 minutes.
