We live in a 24/7 news world, and now there's yet another way to keep up-to-date with what's happening around the globe – via iTunes.

ITN is making its mobile news and entertainment service available for free on iTunes for users of iPods and other portable video players. The service will be funded by advertisements supplied by Ad Infuse.

The ITN iTunes service will provide all the latest UK, world, sports, showbiz and business news throughout the day.

It will also include ITN's Movie Buff cinema guide, while sports fans will be catered for with the broadcaster's Sports Fix weekly sports news bulletin and daily football show EPL.
