The company claims the M4 is "the most advanced tuner ever developed by NAD," a claim we'll have to check out when it sends us a review sample.
In the meantime we can tell you that the M4 has a high-sensitivity FM/AM tuner, RDS function display, 40 station presets, supports DAB band III and band L, is equipped with Burr Brown digital-to-analogue converters (DACs), Burr Brown OP amps and has separate power supplies for the digital control and audio stages.
An RS-232 port enables the M4 to be integrated with multiroom systems using Crestron or AMX controls, and there's a standard remote control for use in simpler systems.
"By combining all broadcast formats in one elegant component, the M4 is the perfect way to add a radio to a Masters Series stereo or surround sound system," says NAD.
The NAD M4 Master Series is available now, and is distributed in the UK by Armour Home Electronics.
