Designed specifically for the "surf and mountain casual lifestyle", and young women in particular, the in-ear and over-ear headphones are being launched at Roxy Jam, the surf, music and art festival running this week in Biarritz.
Available in some startling colours, including the pink shown, there are three models in the range: the Reference 230 ear-buds, on-ear DJ-style Reference 430 and the Reference 250, an in-ear version with microphone for use with mobile phones.
All the headphones come with a matching carrying purse so "fashionable girls can be stylish everywhere they go". Prices range from £17 to £60.
The collection will be sold online at www.roxy.com as well as in stores throughout Europe, and if pink isn't your colour, you can choose from green, blue and orange too.
"Designed by women, for women, the first run of JBL/Roxy co-branded products are just the beginning," says Susan Paley, director of business development for JBL.
"Both companies are committed to providing young women with products that inspire them, allowing them to express themselves through the personal and shared experience of music."
