It was officially launched at the What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Show earlier this month, and will arrive in UK stores including selected John Lewis, Comet, Argos and Dixons from November 22nd.
The Foxsat-HDR has a 320GB hard disk that can store up to 80 hours of HD programming, and 200 hours of standard-definition material.
It will pause, rewind and record Freesat high-definition digital TV, from the BBC and ITV, as well as provide access to around 140 SD TV, radio and interactive channels.
You also get an eight-day electronic programme guide, series recording functionality and split recordings for two-part recordings.
We've already had one of the first Humax Foxsat-HDR boxes in for test, and will be publishing a full review in the January 2009 issue of What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision, on sale from December 11th.
