Fold-flat NXT speaker from Vivanco will unleash your MP3s

Vivanco's NXT speaker is only 1.9cm deep and weighs just 175g. The maker claims it can slip easily into a briefcase, or bag, and says the use of NXT technology "allows for impressive audio from such a compact design". We'll have to wait for a full review to test that claim.

Power is 2 x 2w, impedance 4ohms, the driver unit measures 2 x 19mm and there's a 3.5mm audio input for hooking up your MP3 or portable DVD/CD player.

The speaker is protected by a hard clamshell that doubles as a stand, so it should resist the rough and tumble of everyday life. The Vivanco NXT speaker is available now for £19.99.
