Due to be shown at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair next week, the KUBE combines FM, DAB, DAB+ and wi-fi radio reception, and can also be used to stream music from both Macs and PCs.
What's more, the mono radio can be extended with up to six further speakers, which connect using 2.4GHz technology over a range of up to 50m.
The KUBE uses a single 11.5cm full-range NXT Balanced Radiator flat speaker, powered by a 10W Class D amplifier to give a bandwidth of 80Hz-20kHz.
It's housed in the same furniture grade walnut veneer enclosure as the company's BLOK iPod speaker, with cast aluminium and soft touch plastic panels, and uses an 8cm OLED display panel. A circular remote handset is supplied, duplicating the top-panel controls.
