Today's Leisure Lab update includes our review of Vantage Point, a fast moving assassination thriller that features a gaggle of stars and more twists than a Blackjack tournament.
Sadly those twists, along with the ropey dialogue and leaden performances, mean that Vantage Point fails to live up to its exciting promise. Instead, it swiftly becomes unconvincing.
In its favour, the film cracks along at an entertaining pace, and the trick of telling the same story from several points of view is an interesting one to apply to an assasination attempt. You can't get bored watching Vantage Point, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you'll enjoy it.
