Denon 'clarifies' price changes and special March promotions
Denon has clarified its recent spate of price increases and promotions on its hi-fi and home cinema range

The Denon DVD-3800BD Blu-ray player was £1699 in January, went up to £1999 on February 1st, but will be "permanently repositioned" at a price of £1499 from April 1st. Many dealers are already offering it at the new lower price, or even less.
The Denon DVD2500BT Blu-ray transport was £899 in January, went up to £929 on February 1st and will drop back to £899 from April 1st. In the meantime, Denon is running a special promotion price on this product of £749 for the month of March, available from any Denon retailer.
The Denon DVD-1800BD player was launched at £599, increased to £699 on February 1st and will remain at that price from April 09. However, as with the DVD-2500BT, there's a special promotion in March on the DVD-1800BD at a discount price of £399, again available from all Denon dealers.
Finally, the Denon AVR-4308 multichannel receiver was £2099 in January, rose to £2699 on February 1st and will remain at that price from April 1st. Again, as with the two Blu-ray players, there's a March-only promotion offering it at a discount price of £1799 from all Denon dealers.
Good, that's cleared that up then.
