There are seven high-gloss colours, including a somewhat striking pink, green, silver, black and red, or you can choose more traditional natural wood finishes: cherry, maple and walnut.
The Cubo has a slot-loading CD player as well as a 3.5mm stereo connection for an iPod or MP3 player, and the DAB/FM tuner has six presets available to store favourite stations.
The single speaker is mounted on the top panel, its bass boosted with a reflex tube, and the alarm clock has a snooze button and a dimmable display for bedside use.
Expected to sell for around £269, the Cubo will be launched in Harrods and Selfridges at the beginning of next month, becoming available in other selected retailers during the Summer.
