CES 2009: SanDisk's slotRadio does music without the downloads

SanDisk slotRadio

Songs can't be removed from the card, but users can easily navigate between the playlists, and skip through tracks at the press of a button.

Additional 1000-song cards will be available, at $40 each, and the cards are designed to be interchangeable with any slotRadio player as well as being compatible with Sansa Fuze MP3 players.

The player itself has a diecast aluminium body, a 1.5in OLED display and a built-in FM radio. Both player and cards will debut soon on the company's sansa.com website and at over 4400 Radio Shack outlets in the US.
