CES 2009 in pictures

So you've been reading all the news from CES in Vegas but we thought you might like a peek behind the scenes from the early set-up of the show to choice snaps from the big press conferences....

From Tom Hanks and Usher helping Sony spread the word about new TVs and Walkman ranges to the crowds, queues and general pandamonium, there's never a dull moment.

Just a tiny bit of the giant hotels and exhibition halls that make up CES 2009.

We've seen weaker vistors fall asleep in the press room, adult movie stars from a nearby 'adult' convention and more TVs than our eyes can handle. 130,000 people are here at the convention, which gives you some idea of the vast scale and importance of the biggest consumer tech conference in the world.
