BRISTOL NEWS: AVI gives digital music the sound it deserves

If you want to give your ears a good blast, pop along to the AVI room (412) where the company is demonstrating its ADM9 active speakers and optional subwoofer.

For those who keep a lot of their music on a PC or iPod (and let's face it, that's rather a lot of us these days), you'll be amazed how good your digital music can sound when played through the ADM9s.

When we tested them back in October last year, we were sufficiently impressed to give them the full five stars. "Build a great-sounding system with these active speakers," we said. The ADM9s cost £1000 a pair; the optional subwoofer is £750.

If you haven't heard them in action, now's your chance.
