Amazon Australia's Mid-Year Sale event landed overnight, kicking off the EOFY sales period ahead of Amazon Prime Day with a huge array of discounted products, some of which fall neatly in the realm of hi-fi and AV.
Amazon Australia is discounting a bunch of products across the entire online retail site, with Bluetooth speakers, headphones, soundbars, game consoles and more among the fray.

Sony's latest WH-1000XM4 headphones are the company's best when it comes to both ANC and audio, offering intelligent adaptive noise-cancelling and a pleasing, warm audio profile – the combo of which makes for a cosy audio blanket. The While it's not the biggest discount we've seen on these cans, it's close, so save yourself over AU$150 at Amazon now.
Sennheiser CX 400BT True Wireless Earbuds | AU$299 AU$145.90 on Amazon (save AU$153.10)
Sennheiser hit it out of the park with these true wireless buds, our five-star review praised their lively and detailed sound, lightweight fit and terrific overall value. While we've seen the delightful CX 400BT discounted fairly regularly, this is one of the lowest prices we've seen. Available in Black or White on Amazon.
Bose QuietComfort true wireless earbuds | AU$399.95 AU$317 on Amazon (save AU$82.95)
Bose has taken its expertise in noise-cancelling to the true wireless format with the QuietComfort Earbuds, taking on the likes of Sony with its EF-1000XM3. Here at What Hi-Fi?, we gave them five stars for their superbly balanced and exciting sound, along with their impressive ANC capabilities. Available in Black or Soapstone for AU$317 at Amazon.
Shure Aonic 50 | AU$599 AU$359 on Amazon (save AU$240)
Shure's first wireless headphones – the Aonic 50 – offer up amazing detail and clarity with a solid bass response and brilliant battery life. With other premium features like noise cancelling, these are great and comfortable performers and are heavily discounted to boot. At Amazon, the black and white sets are down to AU$359 apiece, while the brown model is a touch more at AU$369.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II | AU$399 AU$286 on Amazon (save AU$113)
If the Sony and other Bose cans above seem a little too expensive, it wasn't so long ago that the QuietComfort 35 II was the king of the wireless ANC headphone market. While regularly discounted at this stage, this is still an exceptional price on quality audio and noise-cancelling. You’ll save AU$113 when you buy from Amazon in black or silver.
Jabra Elite 65t | AU$119 AU$79 on Amazon (save AU$40)
While they're certainly not the latest true wireless buds out there, the Elite 65t are a solid product and are at their lowest price ever at AU$79 on Amazon. Decent sound quality and noise-cancelling is hard to come by at this price, especially in the true wireless realm, and if you'd prefer the sweat-resistant sporty version of the Elite 65t, you'll be glad to know that the Jabra Elite Active 65t is down to just AU$99 in Copper Blue and Copper Red.
Jabra Elite 85h | AU$379 AU$229 on Amazon (save AU$150)
A stylish pair of headphones, solid noise-cancelling and audio quality, and top-notch battery life make the Elite 85h from Jabra worth a look-in. Right now, you can save AU$150 on all colour options (black, gold/black, and navy) at Amazon.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus | AU$299 AU$139.75 on Amazon (save AU$159.25)
Samsung's true wireless Galaxy Buds Plus work with both Android and iOS thankfully, and with a solid 11-hour battery life and improved sound quality compared to the original Galaxy Buds, they make for a cheap way to get compact audio on the go. They're discounted by well over half price at Amazon right now, so check them out for just AU$139.75 in black.

If you're looking for Sennheiser's famously well-balanced audio in a wireless and comfortable package, these are the cans for you. Heavily discounted on Amazon, these headphones offer noise cancellation (albeit not class-leading quality) and solid sound for substantially less than the competition. Now discounted in both black and white on Amazon.

Yamaha YSP-2700 soundbar + subwoofer | AU$1549 AU$990 on Amazon (save AU$559)
Here at What Hi-Fi?, we're big fans of the Yamaha YSP-2700, so much so that we gave it five stars in our review. Its well-balanced tonality, solid dynamics and wide, spacious 7.1-channel surround sound gave it a sense of immersion, and the included wireless subwoofer really drove it home. It's often discounted, but this is one of the better savings we've seen on this setup, at Amazon.

While it isn't a huge discount, the latest generation of consoles are still super fresh on the market (and very rarely in stock), so even seeing AU$50 off the Xbox Series S is worth a look. It's not quite as powerful as the Series X, but if you're looking for a more compact and casual entry into the current generation of gaming, now's your chance.
