The K10 pico-projector combines DLP technology with LED lamp technology and aims to deliver a picture that despite its size remains sharp, detailed and vivid even in light conditions.
LED technology brings with it the bonus of increased lifetime, Acer claiming up to 20,000 hours and overall increased durability as a result of no breakable filaments or tubes.
The K10 weighs just 550 grams and measures 13 x 12 centimetres, and can produce a picture up to 60in diagonal, claiming a 100 ANSI lumens brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio on its VGA resolution image.
Due for release in January, the Acer K10 will sell for around £350.
