Kimber isn't known for chopping and changing its products, and when cables like the 4VS remain competitive year after year, it has no reason to.

Playing Dave Brubeck's complex Blue Rondo à la Turk, this cable serves up a fluid and expressive sound that impresses with its openness and agility.

Resolution is pleasing, as is dynamic expression. A tauter bass and greater muscularity would have earned it five stars.
