As the popularity of MP3 players has soared, so too has the number of accessories available, from speaker docks and media streamers to the humble headphone. Swedish firm Jays is the latest to join in the fun.
Plain looks, plainly overpriced
Available in black or white, the C-Jays' on-ear design is simple and, if anything, rather plain and uninspiring. Still, there's a carry case which comes weighed down with all manner of adaptors.
They're comfortable enough to wear, but sadly the sonic quality isn't up to scratch – let alone for £80.
Detail recovery could be a great deal better, vocals sound closed and lack clarity, while busy tracks sound cluttered. Plenty of bass there may be, but for a lot less cash you can pick up a much better pair of cans.
