Audio-Technica ATLP120XUSB: was £279 now £249 at Richer Sounds (save £30 with VIP)
The ATLP120USB we tested nearly four years ago was a sturdy performer with a tonally even sound and ample features, including a USB output for ripping your vinyl into digital files to a Mac or PC. The updated 'X' model features a more efficient direct drive motor, anti-skating adjustment, a refreshed design and a switchable phono preamp. As a budget spinner, it's a solid design for vinyl newbies and amateur DJs.
