The Sony WF-1000XM3 wireless earbuds set a new benchmark with their effective active noise-cancelling and superb sense of musicality. They've been superseded by the XM4, but remain an excellent buy at this price.

Renewed Sony WF-C500 $100 $56 at Amazon (save $44)
Sony's sub-$100 noise-cancelling in-ears went on sale relatively recently, but this Amazon 'renewed' pair are heavily discounted. We like their compact and comfortable design, and their well-balanced sound. Total battery life is 20 hours. A real bargain at this price.

Few headphones offer such an appealing feature-set for the price. When you consider their musical, detailed sound and their generous 35-hour battery, the WH-CH710N cans are a great deal at Amazon right now. 

Sony WHCH500B $80 $60 at Walmart (save $20)
These wireless Sony on-ears are half price and offer 20 hours of battery life which should be enough juice for most. They also have a mic for handsfree calls and voice commands. A great buy at this price.

Sony EX155AP $30 $19 at Best Buy (save $11)
These Sony headphones are a steal at this price. Silicon earbuds block out outside noise, letting you focus on the music. We've not tested this model but they could be a solid budget option.
