Steven Knight's Birmingham-based period drama amassed a legion of fans thanks to career-best performances from Irish actor Cillian Murphy and the always-excellent Tom Hardy, plus a string of nerve-jangling cliff-hangers.
Season 6 focuses on the identity of 'Black Cat' – the person who betrayed Tommy – and re-introduces us to 'Uncle' Jack. Sadly, Aunt Polly isn't a part of the final season following the untimely death of actor Helen McCrory.
Peaky Blinders creator Stephen Knight promised that the final episode, Lock and Key, would be an 80-minute "movie finale" and he wasn't wrong. We won't spoil it, but the action centres around Tommy Shelby and his brother, Arthur.
Unsurprisingly, given the popularity of Peaky Blinders, the BBC is said to be exploring "at least" one spinoff. There's also talk of the final episode being a "dry run" for a feature-length movie.
You can watch every episode of Peaky Blinders season 6 on BBC iPlayer now (it's free of charge). Make sure you know how to watch a Peaky Blinders 6 live stream from anywhere.

'Uncle' Jack Nelson is the uncle of Gina Gray (Anya Taylor-Joy) and the head of the Boston gang. He's a powerful figure with political connections to President Roosevelt and thriving export business. Peaky Blinders creator Stephen Knight has confirmed that the character is based on alleged bootlegger Joseph Kennedy Sr., father of JFK.
Nelson is played by 30-year-old Aussie actor James Frecheville, who made his on-screen debut in season 6 episode 2. It's going to be a busy one for Tommy, what with the arrival of 'Uncle' Jack, the return of Alfie Solomons and the reappearance of Sir Oswald Mosley (plus his lover Diana Mitford).
