Years after a brutal attack left her in a constantly shifting reality, newspaper archivist Kirby Mazrachi (Moss) learns that a recent murder is linked to her assault. She teams with veteran reporter Dan Velazquez (Wagner Moura) to confront her past, with the help of a drifter named Harper Curtis (Jamie Bell) who finds a key to a house that seems to open onto other times.
The eight-episode series is an adaptation of Lauren Beukes' 2013 novel The Shining Girls, which wowed critics with its mind-blowing twists, and garnered widespread acclaim from readers.
