The BBC's long-awaited on-demand TV service has been given a launch date – July 27th.

The iPlayer allows you to download programmes for free and watch them as many times as you like within a time limit of 30 days.

Cambridge Audio is planning to release a pair of hi-fi iPod docks by the end of the year. The iD50 and iD100 will feature both audio and video outputs, with the latter being a two-box solution featuring balanced interconnect support.
