Buffalo Linkstation Mini

Hi guys.

Just been checking out your on-line reviews and you got the Buffalo Terastation as the best buy for Network Storage. Pretty worth winner in my opinion.

However, are you planning to (or have you already) had a look at the Buffalo Linkstation Mini as an alternative?
I'd be very interested in how this compares to the Terastation as it:
- provides 1Tb of storage,
- fits in the palm of your hand,
- is allegedly almost silent
- and is retailing at around £250-£300!

Cheers

Hi Ketch,

Yeah, the Linkstation Mini looks and sounds rather impressive. We've already spoken to Buffalo about it a couple of times and they're trying to sort one out for us to review - hopefully we'll be getting one pretty soon. In the meantime check out the Group Test of NAS devices in the current issue. The Terastation comes out very well again, but we're also very impressed with the Maxtor Shared Storage II, which is a fair bit cheaper.
