What's The Best Option To Go For?? Please Help!!

Hi, with the Euros starting Saturday, I am keen to be watching this in High Definition, my problem is, I do not wish to get Sky HD. I would like to know if anybody has any good advice on any receivers that they have, and also what HD channels they are receiving? I have seen many in Maplins (Fortec Passion) but have seen negative reviews about them. Thanks, Paul

At the moment it's that one, the Humax Foxsat-HD reviewed here and a trio from Bush, Goodmans and Grundig IIRC.

The Humax is pretty good, but bear in mind you've still got to get it installed and a dish put up, which is unlikely to happen in time for kick-off tomorrow afternoon.

Ooo I saw a Humax leaving the building under the arm of my boss today, so that's at least two of them in the country.......

But yeah, I think you're wasting your time if you want to see Cristiano's smooth little dimples in all their glory by tomorrow evening. Big Smile

Strange that – i think that's exactly Clare's plan, too.

Nicking 'our' Humax, that is, not leaving your office under the arm of your boss...

I probably was being a little optimistic thinking I could get if for Saturday!! Anyway who wants to watch other countries in glorious HD? Certainly not me...... At the moment are there any HD Receivers that are offering anything more than BBC HD AND ITV HD? According to another forum, the Passion offers certain Europena channels in HD, is this true? Paul.
