Reader awards 2008 No validation e-mail

I did not get the validation e-mail after voting so I've started this thread so that others can post if they have a similar problem.


Mods - feel free to delete if the problem gets resolved.

Just tested it using an external email address, and received the validation email within a couple of minutes.

Suggest you check your spam filtering, as the system seems to be working fine this end.

Andrew was right - mine arrived sometime early this morning and went to my Spam folder.

i voted on thursday night, so have allowed plenty of time to get my email

just tried voting again using a different email address(gmail),and went through and got validation email instantly, so can only assume it must be a problem with my other account(aol), anyway thanks whf, i've now successfuly voted so disregard my previous posts thanks
