HD screen settings

Recently had Sky HD installed which I'm pleased with. Installer set the Sky HD which is connected to my TV (Sony KDF-E50A12U) via HDMI.As the TV is  HD Ready only,therefore 720P capable, would the Sky box be better set to 720P or should I leave it at 1080i?

It does but every time I change anything the picture wobbles for a few seconds before deciding what it needs to do.......bit of a pain

In that case I'd just put it on the 720p setting as you won't reap the benefits of 1080 anyway.

Actually, even with my 1080p screen, I prefer the 720p output of my V-box to the 1080i. Progressive just looks better than interlaced....

Just try both and use whichever you prefer.
