Having purchased the 355BEE to partner my NAD 542 CD and M/A Bronze BR5's I am interested in peoples recommedation for speaker cables and interconnect. I currently have them biwired and whilst good the bass is just a bit too 'unrealistic' at times and can dominate the overall mix.

Chord gives a very balanced sound, in my view. It is certainly a step up from the QED that I was using for a long time. What do you use at the moment?

Rich can you get Tara labs cables? Give them a try for the interconects. Also the amp has steel jupers between the pre and main in terminals. Look at replacing them with a cable as i found it made a big difference.

Or you could try (wash my mouth out with soap) using the bass control to just cut the bass a little.

Yeah try balancing out the bass first before you start changing cables.


IMO QED Silver Anniversary biwire or Chord Carnival Silver will go well with your system.


NAD have a similar sound to Arcam and both the above cables do well especially with M/A speakers.
