I would like some advice on buying a AV amp!
This is the second AV room i have built and in the first one i had the following equipment:
sim ht 300 projector
owl 10ft screen
7.1 m&k 150 series speaker package with mx350 sub
meridian596 dvd player
meridian568 processor
meridian577 2 channel amp
meridian578 5 channel amp.
All this kit sounded fantastic and the m&k speakers were great for going into the cabinets i made and for cinema were the best speakers i had listened to.I loved the m&k sound so much i have bought another set second hand for the new room i am building in the french alps.
I am going to be renting this chalet so i need a amp that is quite easy to use once set up but needs to be good enough to do the m&k speaker justice as i no they are quite power thirsty.I was thinking along the lines of a onkyoTSXR875 and a blue ray player to go with it,what do you think?
