Hi I have an onkyo 905 amp and was going to pair it with a set of MT 30 satelite speakers but as my lounge is 5 m x 8m not sure if will be big enough would I be better using the vm6 package as can not find anty reviews to see if better will use the pv1 sub. Have considered if worth keeping mt 1 for rears and only change front 3.

The PV1 won't stand much of a chance in that size room. Bigger is better in this respect, and you'll have to look at much bigger subs to get decent performance at higher, or even lower, volumes. I wouldn't really recommend satellites in that size room either, unless they were M&K (M series for example) as they tend to be able to handle a little more power than most. Although recommendations would depend on your listening levels.
