Rega has just announced (today I think) colours for the P3-24. They are rumoured to be available from late September onwards in a high gloss yellow/green/white/red or black. They will come as 'package' with bundled Rega TT-PSU power supply upgrade and will retail for £598.

Can anyone in the business (WHF staff or dealers) comment on the accuracy?

Bang goes the old "you can have it in any colour you like as long as it's blue" to be replaced with "you can have it in any colour you like as long as it's not blue"!

Confirmed with local Rega dealer yesterday.

Limited edition, high gloss finish (12 coats) in red, green, yellow, white or black.

Package price includes Rega TT-PSU upgrade power supply for £598. (Cartridge extra.)

Breaking news: I have just ordered mine (in red) and paid a £100 deposit to secure it. Now I have until the end of September to decide on which cartridge.

It just threads over the phono leads and sits invisibly (almost) between the arm and the plinth and has holes for 2mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm. Longer screws are provided for the 6mm and 8mm holes.

I will also be getting the Rega turntable wall support. A quick check of the wall near the hifi with a spirit level shows it is plumb vertical.

Looking forward to getting all 'Rega'ed up' once more :-)
