I'm going AV!

Well it's been a hard decision to make, but I'm going to go with Home-Cinema. I know, I know about all I've said regarding home-cinema over the past 8 months...but I've made my choice, and I believe I will have more fun with one.

But I'm sticking with 2 channels! Nearly had you lot going there! Wouldn't want all those silly speakers all around my bedroom and the poor timing and soundstage...so I've decided to improve my current set-up by buying myself a subwoofer to compliment my current Wharfeys (which I'm keeping for a while, atleast until christmas!) But what sub is best for using to fill in the lows in hi-fi stereo and for movie stereo in a 15ftx9ft room? And what sort of price should I look at spending on it for good timing and plenty of gutso?

Any ideas and all suggestions welcome! Oh, and here's a piccy of my bedroom for available sub placement:

Source: Arcam CD73T & Marantz 10B

Amplifier: Arcam FMJ A32 & MF X-CANv8

Headphones: Denon AH-D5000 & Grado SR60

Speakers: Wharfedale EVO2-30 & B&W 685

I'd start by re-arranging your current speakers so that you don't have just the one next to a wall. That will be bolloxing up any soundstage for sure.

For that size room and with the knowledge you are a well off 15 year old (I know you earned it yourself and I applaud you for it), it has to be a Microvee.

I will say that I do love my Snell Basis 300 sub....it also has very good reviews in it's price range.
