I like listening to 6music whilst in the car, but would like to record some of their documentaries, as well as some on Radio 2.

Now, I know I can download the podcast, but really...have you heard the sound quality of those?

Soooo... is there a way (PC app etc) that I can schedule recording of both stations direct to MP3.

I've tried recording on the sky+ and outputting that to the PC - quality is great but TBH it's a bit of a ba**ache.

Any suggestions?

Get a freeview tuner for your PC, record it like you would TV. Job done.

Any suggestions as to a good one, or is it just pick-an-ebay-special-from-china-for-a-tenner job?

I'd buy whichever Haupaugge fits the bill from ebuyer, whether USB or PCI. PCI is obviously neater but you may not have the slots.
