That would be Amazon Clare. A box shifter. Also, the product in question (my D3000 tv) was sold with a special Amazon/Sony offer of three years warranty cover - no bad thing, but the paperwork came through and I can't get to grips with whom has the initial responsibility! Amazon/Domestic & General or Sony... And first off I need to ascertain if the issue i'm concerned about is a warrantable job.
I posted a Q on the good WHF forums a few weeks back to ask opinions on whether I should expect/have to live with clouding on the LCD panel (which would not be too bad if I didn't watch mainly music concert DVD's which are usually dark of course :) ). So I wanted to ask Sony CS that basic question first: Is my TV faulty? I don't think Amazon will be able to help, they will probably push me to Sony and I'll go around in circles!
