I take it a subscription from the Channel Islands would incur an additional cost?

I'll have to check with our subs team and get back to you on that one.

Re: The best £1 you'll ever spend....

Thanks Andrew, appreciated!

Jersey is sometimes a bit of a grey area (and I don't mean all the SAGA holidaymakers...) for subs and the like, as some companies lump it in with the UK automatically, even though it's not actually in the UK.

I subscribe to a few mags, and they all seem to have different policies. Some are the same price as the mainland, some have a small fee, some are an utter rip-off.

I hope the answer is good, but somehow I doubt it Sad

Here's the answer from our subs people:

"Yes - as long as he has a UK bank account.  He needs to provide sort code and account number."

If I apply now, will the first issue be September's (ie the one released at the end of this month)? I only ask as I already have August's and dont want a replication!

Re: The best £1 you'll ever spend....

Given that they usually say 'allow up to 35 days for delivery of first issue', I would think the first one would be September's, which is on sale two weeks from now, as the October one four weeks later will fall outside that 35 days.

Thanks Andrew, but does that "yes" mean it does incur an additional charge?

I have a UK address currently, so could set it up at this address, but I'm moving over there in seven weeks or so. Probably best if I stop bothering you and call them myself! I think someone may have posted a link somewhere around here...
