Hoo CHA. A fan since hearing her sing on "Time Stand Still" by Rush, and then seeing her play 4th of July (I think) on BBC2's "Words and Music" years ago...........

Edit - and the source of an amusing (sic) story, coincidentally. I used to worked for BMG and we would get guest list entry to some of their artists' gigs, and I got on the list for her gig at the Shepherd's Bush Empire about three years back.

So there's me being all cocky and going "I'm on the guest list, me" to all my friends and I'd got my wife a ticket so we could go together - I pitch up at the box office and do my "I'm on the guest list, me" routine and they say "Duncan....... Duncan....... nope - no Duncan here mate" and I'm like "no, check again - BMG! Duncan! I'm on there! No really I am!". In the end I had to go and buy a ticket from a tout outside............

My wife found this quite funny, inexplicably.
