I think it was a tape of Radio 1's top 40 with Tommy Vance [circa 1986]. Blimey, JD, this weeks theme seems to be nudging back a few years. (Was I shaving then?)

Re: What was the last mix tape you made?

Don`t seem to get around to making many nowadays. Last one I done was for my sisters birthday and included loads of songs she likes by artists which included -

Barbra Streisand, Olivia Newton-John, Carpenters, Bread, Cliff Richard, Helen Reddy, Ann Murray, Elvis Presley and one or two others.

Keep meaning to make up my favourite cd of this, favourite cd of that but never seem to get around to it! Funny enough though only earlier today I was sorting through some old cassettes and found some consisting of various artists. Infact I`ve just grabbed hold of one, lets see...Space, Abba, Korgis, Barry Manilow, Sam Brown, Spandau Ballet, Spider, Human League, Smokie, 10CC, New Musik, Joe Jackson, Lynsey De Paul, Lene Lovich, The Dooleys, The Alarm, Nick Lowe, Child, Unicorn, Donna Summer, Beach Boys, Blue Oyster Cult, Kansas, Uriah Heep and Queen!

I know what I like ..

And I streamed it via Airfoil to my stereo last night and listened to the first few minutes. Loved those sultry Radio 4 tones of "Technology Writer Clare Newsome". Were you on again later? I got a bit bored (sorry).

Re: What was the last mix tape you made?

Yes, a couple of times later on (once you got through, IMHO, far too long of the woman banging on about types of tapes)....
