Wow, never thought I would see the name Suicidal Tendencies again. How about Pantera? Any fans out there? And also Nailbomb?

Loved Suicidal Tendencies - Waking the dead and...Pantera - Walk

Walk!  The most over rated metal riff ever!  That riff, aparantly, has been vote the best in the world...even beat  G&R's sweet child Tongue Tied!  I do like Pantera but "Effing hostle" and "I'm broken" rather than walk though.

Re: Metallica - Death Magnetic

Heard it on Radio 1 last night at 7 and again at 7:30.

Definitely sounded better second time round. Agree it's better than St Anger but it's still a pale shadow of their former selves.

Re: Metallica - Death Magnetic

Well no matter what people say or think about the new stuff. (Heard two tracks now. Cyanide (live) and The Day That Never Comes. Both of which are growing on me after a couple of listens.) All I know is they are still the best live band out there and will kick ass when I see them at Reading on Sunday.

Re: Metallica - Death Magnetic

I wish I went to see them!  imo They should be headline Download rather than Robbie William's festival!

Agree on the best live band...well I also rate Muse and Price's live show very highly.

Re: Metallica - Death Magnetic

Seen Muse a few times (first when they were a support band) and not a fan, it all sounds the same to me.

Metallica have done Download a few times and they've also done reading/leeds before so their not breaking new grounds playing reading, but as always it does open them up to a wider audience. and hey today at reading is going to be pretty heavy.
